I was disappointed by the seriously mediocre 2011 US stamps, but I figured the USPS financial woes had virtually eliminated the graphic design budget. What they didn’t realize is that prettier stamps sell more (duh).
It seems they learned this lesson because despite the price increase last week, they at least stepped it up for 2012 designs.
